The other villages also!

One of the Muslim policemen who were helping us with security came to the platform of our campaign. He had various problems in his life. The day after, he came up and testified before the gathered crowd, how Jesus had intervened in his life and done a miracle on his situation. He proclaimed loud and clear that Jesus is truly the Son of God! Two elderly men told with lively movements how Jesus healed their sight that almost had been completely gone. With great joy they both demonstrated how they could see perfectly again. One Muslim woman told me in tears on stage how she was filled with demons and darkness for many years, but when she received Jesus in her heart all darkness left her, all demons, and her illness left her. When Marcus then put his hand on her to bless her, she fell under the power of God and began to speak in other tongues. She was saved, set free and baptized in the Holy Spirit in one day!

Testimony after testimony like these, was the result after our mission trip to Pakistan in April. Whenever the living gospel is sown into hungry hearts, there is always fruit. Jesus said in Mark 1:38: “Let us go in a different direction, to the other villages around here, that I may preach there also. That is why I have gone out,” and this is also our focus in Pakistan, to reach every town and village with the gospel. This time our trip was to two smaller villages far out in the countryside. For hours every day we went out on the small roads to really be able to reach the unreached. Every evening there was an awesome atmosphere of joy and expectancy on God, where both Pakistanis and Swedes sang and danced along. Although we thought we saw more cows than people around the small mud huts, along the road, thousands came to hear the gospel. The local pastors said about 80% of those who came were Muslims.

Marcus and I took turns to preach about the only name that could save these precious people – the name of Jesus! The response to the call of salvation made our eyes filled with tears of joy, people were streaming forward and called upon the name of Jesus. In total during the two campaigns, 16 100 people responded to the altar call and filled out follow-up cards.

Hungry believers were gathered every day in the fire conferences. It was so wonderful to share the heavenly manna from the word of God with these spiritually hungry leaders. They drew out the best in us. Although there were only two small churches in the village, who did not even believe in the Holy Spirit baptism did not prevent God from baptizing many in the Holy Spirit and fire. Women and men, young and old was knocked out by the power of God and wept while they spoke in new tongues last day of the fire conference. The entire Swedish team helped to pray for every one of them. Many leaders and pastors and other believers were given encouragement, faith and received a personal encounter with Jesus and others received prophetic words, dreams and visions. We cannot but once again thank God for what we experienced and for the privilege of being His messenger.
