The fishing net was thrown out in Bangladesh
Thousand of lives have been transformed. Hindus and Muslims have been saved. Two unreached villages have been reached with the powerful gospel of Jesus Christ. 15,785 people have called upon the name of Jesus for salvation and hundreds have been healed.

When we see big fishing nets, rice fields and the red sun going down behind the tropical forest we know that we are back in Bangladesh. The environment is absolutely astounding. Bangladesh is a nation that really has caught our hearts. Not because of the tropical experience but because the nation is on Gods heart. Out of the 160 millions inhabitants only 0,5% counts as Christians. I really understand Jesus’ prayer and cry for more workers for the harvest. Bangladesh is in great need of more workers and to be some of these workers is not a burden but a privilege.
For the first time since we started working in Bangladesh two gospel campaigns and Fire conferences were planned after each other. When the roads became so narrow that the leaves from the palm trees touched the windows of our car we knew we had arrived. The first village was Kodaldhoa, where there wasn’t even one church. Pastors from surrounding villages had to come and help us. Thousands of curious Hindus and Muslims gathered night after night and every night the altar was crowded with people seeking salvation. Miracles took place from the first to last night. One man who had been blind in one eye could see perfectly. A ten year old boy who had been mute opened his mouth and could speak. One woman demonstrated how she earlier had been walking bent over with a stick but now she was running with us on the stage.
Assemblies of God in south of Bangladesh had their annual conference when we were there so we were invited to teach and preach to them. Around 300 were gathered to receive faith and spirit filled teaching. The last day was special. Our teaching was more prophetic than the other days and one of our team members led all of us in intercession for Bangladesh. After some time the Holy Spirit took completely over and the people stood in small groups praying and crying for their nation. We ended the conference with praying for and laying hands on everyone.
After one day rest we continued to the next village Amgram. The same thing happened in this unreached village, thousands ran forward every night to call upon the name of Jesus for salvation. God confirmed his word like so many times before. Several testified how their heart, which had been beating unregularly, was healed and was now beating normally. Three testified how their eyes were healed. One Hindu told us about his mental problems had disappeared. Almost everyone who came forward to testified held tight to their follow up card which testified that they had all received the greatest miracle of all: salvation!
The conference in Amgram consisted of ordinary believers from the village. Every day we saw how their faith in God and in themselves grew as they received powerful teaching about their calling, pioneer evangelism among the unreached and in the end of the conference they committed themselves to go out with and preach the gospel. The last day many were filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in new tongues.
Every day the team went out on outreach. They prayed with several people to receive salvation and healing in people’s houses, in schools and marketplaces. One of the most powerful door that opened for them was a school with 1200 students, all Hindus and Muslims, that they preached the gospel to.

The future harvest in Bangladesh is truly great. Bangladesh has almost 160 millions unreached people that needs to be reached with the gospel. Pray together with us for this harvest. We have so far given out 1000 copies of our book “The Final lap of the great commission” and now we need to print more. We will now also write and print a follow up book with the foundational truths and discipleship teaching in Bengali that we will give out to all who receive Christ. Pray for the printing for these two books. This will increase our budget for every Gospel festival in the future but we feel the Lord is urging us to do it. Thank you for standing with us in north praying and giving. Together we finish the great commission!
