Kenya’s slum was reached with the gospel!

KENYA REPORT DAY 1
 
Breakthrough the first day!
 
We did outreach in the slum, an area of alcoholism and prostitution. The whole team went out actively to the people we met and shared the gospel boldly. More than 20 precious people received Jesus as their Lord! We saw several healings. A man who was deaf in one ear was healed and also a woman who had malaria. The Fire Conference became a breakthrough during the last seminar with both deliverance and repentance. The Campaign meeting was marked by a fantastic response to salvation. The word went out with power and people received Jesus in tears. The word was confirmed with many healing miracles. A real breakthrough!

KENYA REPORT DAY 2
 
Spiritual battle and victory!
 
Outreach: the team went out in great boldness and told people about Jesus in the streets. They talked with people one on one or in small groups. We saw about 60 people accept Jesus as savior and two immediate healings. A woman was healed from asthma and another was set free from pressure and pain in the chest. The team also took the opportunity to invite everyone we met to the campaign. Fire Conference: pastors were filled with the power of God and the seminars were characterized by a strong outpouring of the Holy Spirit! There was a strong flow of the prophetic and many chains were broken. We saw strong deliverances and several Holy Spirit baptism. The campaign: the word of God was preached with power and authority. We saw again a big response to the altar call. When we prayed for the sick there were many who were healed, but it has been a struggle to get them to testify about what happened. Many did not dare to come up on stage to tell and in the midst of the healing testimony the power went off. We clearly felt that this was a sign of a spiritual struggle. Despite the power was shut down we did not give up. The choir and the Swedish team began to praise God from the scene and not a single one left the ground until the power came back and we were able to continue and complete the evening’s campaign meeting.

KENYA CAMPAIGN REPORT DAY 3
 
Complete victory!
 
Today’s outreach reached new heights. We prayed with around 350 lost people to salvation today! The team continued along the slum’s streets and shared the gospel with everyone they encountered. The team prayed that the Lord would send more people. Right after they had finished the prayer a crowd of schoolchildren came walking towards them. The team preached about Jesus to the school children, who eagerly responded! Then came a whole school classes, one after the other, and the team continued to preach about Jesus. Finally they reached a school and went in and talked to the principal. It lead to Gods favor, as he immediately gathered all the school children and the team shared testimones and preach the gospel to them.

Many healings took place on the streets. A girl who had been hurt in a leg and could not walk properly was healed. A man with a paralyzed hand and malaria was healed. He had been a baker but was unemployed because of the hand. But thanks to Jesus! Now he can work again! A Muslim man was saved, but wanted a sign that it was for real. He had not had a customer in a long time, but barely 5 minutes after the team prayed for his job situation a customer came! The team also met a little boy who they prayed for on Wednesday. He was sick and had a swollen face but was now completely healed!

On the Fire Conference we reached another level as well. There was a lot that happened in the Spirit today and there was a strong presence of God. The fire of God burned really in the building today and both empowered and purified the people. Towards the end the whole crowd went into strong intercession for the area and for the campaign. The sound of praise and prayer was heard far and wide! One of the leaders prophesied over the city and its pastors. That prophetic message was right on the target.

Tonight the Father’s heart went out to the lost. Tobias Almhill preached the gospel with passion and love from heaven. The message of the prodigal son gave birth to a mighty wave of salvation, and people flocked to the platform in response to the Father’s love. We saw the demon-possessed set free and many healings. Tonight we saw a breakthrough of the healing testimonies. In the previous evenings it has been difficult to get people to testify about the miracles they experienced but this evening it was a huge joy and freedom! A woman testified how a 6-year ulcer disappeared. Another woman had been in the campaign for three consecutive days with severe headache and this night she was completely set free from all the pain. Several others testified about wonderful healings. A total and complete joy erupted on the campaign site tonight! All resistance is crushed! Now we bring in the harvest!

KENYA REPORT DAY 4
Freedom for the captives!
 
Today the team was out on their final outreach for this time. Time was short, but the team took action! We met a man who called himself a Christian but did not know who Jesus was. It was quickly changed when one of the team members shared the Gospel of Jesus with him and a few others and they all received salvation in Christ. The team went on to a small square and started a spontaneous street meeting. More than ten people responded to the call to salvation. We also prayed for the sick and a man was immediately healed of pain and another person was set free from demonic oppression. The team then went down the street and called out the name of Jesus in our portable speakers and sang praises on their way to the fire conference.

The last day of fire conference was a surprise. Bishops and pastors from across the city and region were in place, a total of 300 people were gathered at the seminars. Today we also established our host church officially. The whole team was involved in laying on of hands on the pastors and leaders and the fire conference ended with a strong outpouring of the Holy Spirit. In the campaign evening the word of God went out with power. There was an authority and fear of God when Daniel preached the gospel message. A lot more people had gathered tonight, around 2,000 people, and the response to the message was great. The gospel hit the bull’s-eye tonight and we saw a great harvest of souls. The message of liberty to the captives set the people free from sin, sickness and evil spirits, and tonight the fear to testify was totally gone. An even greater joy broke out in the crowd and we danced and praised God in the middle of slum!

KENYA REPORT DAY 5
 
A wonderful finish!
 
Today, the last day in Kisumu, we replaced the outreach with visits to churches. As Jesus sent the disciples out two by two, so we sent out the team two and two. Totally we ministered in six different congregations today. All of the team were in action, preaching, testifying and ministered to the people. People were saved, healed and baptized in the Spirit. Demon possessed were delivered and many began to speak in other tongues. All of the team agreed that each one of us had been sent to just the right church with just the right messages and testimonies. On the campaign evening Tobias preached a very strong message about Jesus and the cross. The team helped and dramatized the message and the word of God went out in power! Again, many responded to the salvation invitation. When we prayed for the sick many experienced miracles from Jesus. We had wonderful testimonies on the stage and we finished in glorious, heavenly joy!
