Miracles in the jungle of Bangladesh!
Many Hindus and Muslims pushed toward the platform when the altar call sounded. It was a great joy to bring the Gospel to these spiritual hungry people in Bangladesh. Hundreds experienced healing to their bodies but the greatest miracle of all is salvation and 3 987 people experienced the salvation miracle.
After the glorious fire conference we had with our new coordinator Pastor Jonathan in Bangladesh in December last year it was time to conduct our first Gospel Festival together. Our destination was an unreached village in south Bangladesh. The journey to get there by car, flight, bus and boat gave us fascinating views of both the nature and the people. Together with a couple from north of Sweden we have worked together with one heart. Never before had an evangelistic meeting been held here and that gives the Evangelist special joy and satisfaction.
During four nights and three days we preached to thousands of people and taught hundreds of leaders. Many Hindus and Muslims pushed toward the platform when the altar call sounded. It was a great joy to bring the Gospel to these spiritual hungry people in Bangladesh where only 0,3% counts as Christians. Only Jesus can give these people salvation and the hunger for the Gospel was great among the crowd of Hindus and Muslims.
From the first to the last meeting a crystal clear Gospel was preached in the power of the Holy Spirit. Hundreds experienced healing to their bodies but the greatest miracle of all is salvation and 3 987 people experienced the salvation miracle. Every night the longing after Jesus was overwhelming and almost everybody wanted to receive Jesus as their savior. To hear thousands of Hindus and Muslims praying the prayer of salvation is beautiful music in the ears of the Evangelist and all of heaven rejoiced over the lost sinners coming home to the kingdom of heaven.
Many mighty miracles took place. One mother, who had had severe stomach pain for ten years, came with her little boy who also was sick. They testified the next day that after prayer they both were totally healed. One man who due to rheumatism had had pain in his whole body was totally made well and demonstrated it willingly in front of everybody with jumping, bending and waving with his arms. One elderly Hindu woman hadn’t been able to walk for many years but Jesus healed her completely. Another woman’s tumor on the throat disappeared. Jesus also opened one little boys right ear which had been deaf. Finally I want to share about a little girl who was born deaf and dumb. After prayer she could speak and hear for the very first time in her life.
The Fire Conference had a slow start with a mix of some really hungry and some not so hungry leaders and pastors. But during the second day of the conference, when we preached about and prayed for the baptism of the Holy Spirit, to our surprise almost all leaders came forward and was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke in new heavenly tongues. This was a precious moment in the presence of God. After the conference many leaders and pastors came to us and showed us appreciation for the teaching and the book “The Final Lap of the Great Commission”. They told us how they had received new vision, passion and power to spread the Gospel and to build the kingdom of God in unreached places in Bangladesh.
